A Threshing Meeting was held on 27th March to consider the future of this 18C Grade II* Quaker Meeting House and attached cottage, currently in the care of Southern Marches Area Quaker Meeting. The Threshing Meeting was held by SMAQM at the request of the AM Trustees and the Pales Management Group (PMG); Quakers from other areas were present. It was Clerked by Deborah Rowlands (Area Meeting clerk for South Wales AM and a former clerk of Britain Yearly Meeting).
The options were presented by the Pales Management Group, which was appointed by Southern Marches Area Meeting to explore the way forward for the Pales; details of how the PMG was set up can be found in the Threshing Meeting Menu.
The final decision about the future of the Pales will be taken by the Area Meeting in session.
