She has over 15 years’ lecturing experience in the Further Education sector and a commitment to continuous professional development.

Exploring Drawing Materials Workshop

The aim of the workshop is to explore the use of a selection of art materials through structured, taught drawing exercises in line and tone. We will work boldly in monochrome using mostly charcoal and ink, see the examples below. This workshop would suit those with an enquiring mind who may have had a little practical experience of drawing and who are willing to experiment and gain confidence beyond pencil. It would also suit those wanting to reconnect with their drawing practice in creative company in a beautiful setting.

Please bring  your own materials for working in charcoal and dip pen and ink, water colour and pastels if you wish to use colour, and  sturdy white paper  ( size A2 orA3). You may find a folding seat and drawing board or easel useful if you want to work out of doors.
